Cognitive Assessments ("the App") is a free clinical reference tool that assists healthcare professionals and trained caregivers in administering validated cognitive screening instruments, including the SLUMS, RUDAS, and AD8 assessments. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices in full.
The App is intended solely as a reference aid and scoring tool. It does not provide medical diagnoses, clinical recommendations, or treatment plans. Scores and interpretations generated by the App are screening results only and must not be used as the sole basis for any clinical decision. The App does not request any dangerous or runtime permissions. The only system capability used is the device's built-in text-to-speech engine (to optionally read assessment story text aloud), which does not access the microphone or any personal data.
Although this App relates to cognitive health screening, it does not access, collect, or process any health or fitness data as defined by Google Play's Health Apps Policy. The App functions as an interactive scoring reference only. No health-related data is read from or written to the device's health data stores (e.g., Google Fit, Health Connect).
This App is intended for use by healthcare professionals and adult caregivers. It is not directed at children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information from children.
The App does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, crash-reporting SDKs, or social login services. The Donate link within the App navigates to Ko-fi (ko-fi.com), an external website governed by its own privacy policy. No user data is shared with Ko-fi.
All assessment content incorporated in this App is derived exclusively from peer-reviewed medical literature and validated clinical instruments. No proprietary or unverified content is included. Relevant references are available within the Credits section of each assessment.
